Offa Armed Robbery: Police invite Saraki

WorldStage Newsonline– The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the invitation of the Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki to report to the Force Intelligence Response Team office at Guzape, Abuja to answer to the allegations levelled against him from the confessions of the five gang leaders, namely; Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibukunle Ogunleye, Adeola Abraham, Salawudeen Azeez, Niyi Ogundiran and some of the other 17 suspects arrested for direct involvement and active participation in the Offa Bank Robbery and the gruesome killing of 33 innocent persons which includes some pregnant women and nine police personnel.

SERAP asks court to order Saraki, Melaye, others to refund ‘illegal N13.5m allowance with interest

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has asked the Federal High Court in Lagos to order the Senate President Bukola Saraki, Senator Dino Melaye and 107 other senators to refund “illegal and unconstitutional N13.5 monthly allowance receives by each senator with interest, and to stop the lawmakers from receiving such unjustified allowances.”

SERAP seeks voluntary return of ‘illegal running costs, allowances’ by NASS

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged President of the Senate Dr Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives Mr Yakubu Dogara to “persuade their members to voluntarily return running costs and other allowances so far collected, and now declared as illegal by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), and to use any returned funds to establish a trust fund to improve investment in education and health.”
