WorldStage Newsonline-- The Nigerian Baptist Convention will hold its 99th Annual Convention Session between April 21and 26, 2012.

The Convention with the theme, “Kingdom Mandate: Advancing in God’s Power,” will hold at the Baptist Academy Ground, Obanikoro, Lagos, beginning from this Saturday

According to the General Secretary, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Olasupo Ayokunle, this year’s convention session will have delegates from over 10,000 churches of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

On the theme for this year’s convention, Ayokunle stated that it was taken from the Bible, book of Joshua, Chapter 13:1, was so designed to remind participants at the convention and Christians generally that, “we cannot rest on our oars now when we still have many unbelievers around us who out of ignorance of false religion may even want to kill us thinking that they are doing service for God”.

The General Secretary noted that the 99th convention will have various spirit-filled programmes which include teachings, preaching, singing among other.
