NSE All share Index dips 0.58%, as Presco, Transcorp, Dangote Flour top gainers

Lagos (WorldStage Newsonline)-- Activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed Tuesday on a negative note as 19 blue chip stocks appreciated in price as against 20 stocks that depreciated.

Altogether, a total of 449,212,299 shares worth N4.1 billion exchanged hands in 4,426 deals while market capitalisation declined to N7.150 trillion as against N7,192 trillion on Monrday, an increase of N42 billion or 0.58 per cent.

Similarly the All-share index dropped by 0.58 per cent to close at 22,422.43 as against 22,552.46 yesterday.

Presco Nigeria led the gainers' table with a gain of N0.71 kobo to close at N15.04 kobo per share, Transcorp pgained N0.03 kobo to close at N0.64 kobo per share and Dangote Flour gained N0.31 kobo to close at N6.62 kobo per share.

Etranzact led the losers' chart by shedding N0.22 kobo to close at N4.25 kobo per share, next was International Breweries that shed N0.29kobo per share to close at N5.63 kobo per share and Skye Bank Plc N0.17 kobo per share to close at N3.33 kobo per share.
