Abuja (WorldStage Newsonline)-- Nigeria's Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Mohammed Adoke has said he was yet to be briefed on the National Judicial Council (NJC) recommendation to President Goodluck Jonathan to reinstate Justice Ayo Salami.

According to him, he was yet to be briefed as he only returned back to the country Tuesday night.

He said he would not just talk to mislead the people.

He said, "I have not been briefed. I just returned to the country from Addis Ababa last night (Tuesday). Attorney-Generals don't just open mouth and talk. Until when I am briefed and I see the letter, I can't be reacting to mob action.

"Believe me honestly, I can't mislead you. I think Reuben Abati has told you that the president has not received the letter. I am waiting to be briefed."
