WorldStage Newsonline-- Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed third day of the week on a positive note with a total of 392,804,496 shares worth N3 billion of shares exchanged hands in 3,909 deals while 20 equity stocks appreciated in price as against 24 that depreciated.
The NSE market capitalisation rose to N7.104 trillion from N7.062btrillion recorded on Tuesday, representing a rise of 0.6 per cent while the All share Index also rose by 0.6 per cent to 22,253.71 from 22,120.47 on Tuesday.
Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc led the gainers' table with a gain of N0.70 kobo to close at N14.71 kobo per share, UBA Plc gained N0.20 kobo to close at N4.26 kobo per share and Union Bank gained N0.20 kobo to close at N4.29 kobo per share.
FO Plc led the losers' chart by shedding N0.57 kobo to close at N10.84 kobo per share, followed by Arbico Nigeria Plc that shed N1.11 kobo per share to close at N21.19 kobo per share and Dangote Flour N0.33 kobo per share to close at N6.37 kobo per share.
