WorldStage Newsonline-- Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed first day of the week on a bullish note with a total of 270,486,767 shares worth N1.3 bilion of shares exchanged hands in 4,129 deals while 24 equity stocks appreciated in price as against 12 that depreciated.
The NSE market capitalisation stood at N7.335 trillion at the close of trading as against N7.335 trillion recorded Friday, representing a rise of 1.03 per cent while the All share Index also rose by 1.04 per cent to stand at 22,978.14 as against 22,741.06 Friday.
Conoil Nigeria plc led the gainers' table with a gain of N1.02 kobo to close at N21.56 kobo per share, Airservice plc gained N0.07 kobo to close at N1.52 kobo per share and RTBriscoe plc gained N0.08kobo to close at N1.75kobo per share.
Enamelwa plc led the losers' chart by shedding N1.80kobo to close at N34.39 kobo per share, followed by May and Baker Nigeria plc that shed N0.09obo per share to close at N1.72kobo per share and Union Bank plc N0.23 kobo per share to close at N4.42 kobo per share.
