NSE Index dips 0.11%, as Royal Exchange, Unilever, Cutix shed weight

WorldStage Newsonline-- Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) continued on a negative trend on Tuesday  as market capitalisation dropped  slightly  to N 7,445,221,179,454.61 from N7,453,773,331,582.50  on  Monday, representing a decline of 0.11 per cent, while the All share Index also was recorded similar downward swing to 23,391.79 from 23,418.66 Monday.

Eterna Plc led the 22 gainers with a gain of 4.95 per cent to close at N2.33 per share followed by UPL that gained 4.77 per cent to close at N4.39 per share and IHS that gained 4.69 per cent to close at N2.23 per share.

On the other hand, Royal Exchange Insurance led 21 losers with the maximum 5 per cent decline to close at N0.57 per share, followed by Unilever with 4.94 per cent decline to close at N34.65 per share and Cutix with 4.6 per cent fall to close at N1.66 per share.
