WorldStage Newsonline-- Morison Industries Plc has notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange that the appointment of Messrs. Richard Olaniyi Titiloye and Godwin Ogheneochuko Oteri as non-executive Directors of Morison Industries Plc was confirmed by the members of the Company at its 57th Annual General Meeting held on 2nd August 2012.
Mr. Richard Olaniyi Titiloye graduated from Yaba College of Technology in 1973 with HND in Accountancy. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of England and Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation. He started his career with Peat, Marwick, Casselton Elliot & Co (now KPMG) in 1975 as Senior Audit Trainee/Qualified Trainee. In 1976 he was elevated to the position of Audit Senior. He later rose through the ranks and became the Group Audit Manager of the firm in July 1982. Mr. Titiloye joined Data Processing Maintenance & Services Ltd (formerly IBM Nig. Ltd) as Financial Controller. In 1986 he moved to Johnson Wax Nigeria Ltd as Finance Manager/Company Secretary and later rose to the position of Director of Finance/Company Secretary in January 1990.
Mr. Titiloye established Olaniyi Titiloye & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants in 1993 and Rich-Rotoye Consultants and OT & Co Tax Consultants in 1993 and is the Group Managing Partner till date.
Mr. Godwin Ogheneochuko Oteri graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, in 1975 with B.Sc. Biology and had his MBA at University of Lagos in 1977. He later enrolled at University of Lagos for Law programme and obtained LLB in 1992 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993.
He was the Product Manager of Unilever between 1978 and 1980. He moved to Johnson Wax in 1980 as Group Product Manager. Mr. Oteri was at various times the company’s Marketing Manager, Business Manager Professional and Managing Director and Head, Management Committee. He was responsible for overall management of Johnson Wax Nigeria Limited. From 2009 to date he is the Chairman, Tega Ventures Nigeria Ltd.
He is a National Council Member, Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (MAN), Member, Board of Directors and National Treasurer Nigeria-American Chamber of Commerce, 2000 to date. He is an Attorney At Law and is married with children.
