WorldStage Newsonline—-The Senate has announced plan to begin debate on the general principles of the 2019 Appropriation Bill on Wednesday.
President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki who made the announcement at the plenary on Tuesday said the debate would end on March 19.
He also urged the lawmakers to put their names on the plenary register for compilation to ensure orderly debate.
The Second Reading of the 2019 Budget was suspended due to Christmas break, and the need to create space for the 2019 General Elections.
President Muhamamdu Buhari on Dec. 19, 2018 presented a budget of N8.73 trillion before the joint parliamentary session of National Assembly for consideration.
