Evang Adeola Adeleye takes gospel music to the next level with Orun Ayomisi, National Peace Campaign

The Gospel Music world witnessed the grand entry of a new album over the weekend with the launch of Orun Ayomisi (My Open Heaven) by Evang Adeola Adeleye of the DELAC Band. The launch witnessed live performance of the six tracks from the new album at the Gateway Cathedral, RCCG, Lagos Province 25 Headquarter.

The tracks in the new album include; Orun Ayomisi, Freedom, Joyful Noise, Titilailai, Kikiogo, and Alafia (Peace) Remix.

Speaking at the event which also witnessed the launch of her national peace mission project, the artist explained that the album is designed to bring the message of hope to the people. There was a special rendition of Alafia Remix, which is expected to be the theme song for her National Peace Campaign.

According to Evang. Adeleye, “We have to add a remix of Alafia, the lead song in my last album to the new one, because of the situation of things in our country and commitment to the Nigeria project; this special Peace Song is dedicated to the peace and economic prosperity of Nigeria because this is our own Jerusalem.”

She added that her plan is to take the message of peace across the country, by translating the Alafia (Peace song) which is presently in English and Yoruba to all the major languages in the country.

“This is something I am committed to; everyone has a role to play in the quest to promote National Peace in the country. Through this album we are doing our bit, it will however require the support of all well meaning and peace loving people in the country. The target is to take the message to all the geopolitical zones of the country” she said.

While endorsing the Album, the Pastor in Charge of RCCG, City Of Refuge Area , Lagos Province 25, Pastor John Adebo encouraged the artists to keep the flag flying, taking his reference from the book Esther 4:14-16, that the lord has position her for a time like this in the country.

Speaking at the event, Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Public Relation, Lagos State, Mr Olusegun Mcmedal while delivering his goodwill message  commended the effort of the artist in putting the songs together.

On his part Barrister (Pastor) Jide Ologun who was the chairman of the launch event presented the album to audience, stating  that Praising God is an opportunity, and that we must all strive to make positive impact in our generation.

The album is being promoted by Addefort Limited, a leading Public Relations and concept development firm.
