WorldStage Newsonline– Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has dismissed as waste of energy to react to the joke made by American popular comedian, Jimmy Kimmel on President Muhammadu Buhari ‘alleged death and being ‘cloned’ and replaced by one ‘Jubril of Sudan’.
Kimmel, in a viral video of an American late-night show aired on ABC news in the US, had cracked jokes about Buhari being perceived as dead and cloned.
She wrote through her twitter account: “Cracking up on Jimmy Kimmel Live joke on the issue of Buhari cloning.
“Jimmy is a comedian, his source of livelihood. The joke is a no to the stupidity of even believing in the cloning narrative at all, not on PMB. I won’t waste energy on this. That’s all.”
For some weeks now, Buhari had been under media speculations, after pro-Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in his message to world, said President Buhari was ‘dead’ and has been replaced by a Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani, as a double.
However, President Buhari in a recent visit to Poland, told the Nigerian community there that he isn’t a clone.
