Worship for Change holds concert for awareness, support for indigent children, orphans, children with special needs

WorldStage Newsonline– Worship for Change, a nongovernmental organization on Tuesday announced plans to hold a benefit virtual concert tagged Green Worship 3.0 on Saturday 19th September 2020 to raise awareness and support for indigent children, orphans and children with special needs.

The organizers said at a virtual press conference today that the concert will hold by 5pm (WAT) and 12 noon (EST) with confirmed artistes for the event including Michael W. Smith, Matt Redman, Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Hughes, Dunsin Oyekan, Paul Baloche and Martin Smith.

Also performing at the concert to be beamed live on DSTV Channel 242, GOTV channel 102 and Startime channel 102 are Sola Allyson, Glowreyah Braimah, Freke Umoh, Gbenga Adenuga, Wale Adenuga. Irynerock, Chilo de Cristo, Marija McKean Chigozie Akagha and Shola Aliogo are also on the bill.

The organizers listed the beneficiaries of this year’s benefit concert to include Leprosy mission Nigeria, Jakin NGO, Magnificent Therapy services, Moyinoluwa Rainbow Foundation, Daughters Of Charity Of St. Vincent De Paul, Province Of Nigeria, and Ikorodu Sickle cell club.

Worship For Change’s yearly benefit concerts helped to raise over N45 million, with same disbursed, impacting thousands of indigent children and kids with special needs.
